So, why is MicroCyte so cheap? MicroCyte has been in active development for over a year and has seen many successful deployments. Originally it was created as a closed system intended for use only by its developers, but due to popular demand by everyone who's seen and used it we've decided to release it publically. For that reason we are able to deliver what we believe to be a top class cost effective CMS system. The $10 price tag simply goes towards MicroCyte's future development, upkeep and customer support. MicroCyte works by putting both the developer and the end user in the driving seat. Unlike many other CMS systems, there is no backend interface as such. The user simply surfs to the page they want to edit and makes their changes, there and then, in context. Likewise, developers can add MicroCyte to their websites buy making a few simple changes to their pages; there is virtually no requirement to write reams of code (unless you want to, of course!)
